I HATE when people belittle my favorite voyager character just because she happens to be the hottest thing that ever lived. She's the most interesting character on the show. The doctor and 7 give the most entertaining performances and 7's evolution is fascinating. oh, i liked kess too. it's easy to forget about her since she's been gone for so long. loosing her was a tragedy

I think the editor thought that they were showing Seven of Nine in normal clothes at 0:45 but it was actually Kes in her sexier style of clothing haha, editor fail. They really shoulda kept Kes and Seven though, double the sexy!

I love the ep where the personalities of some of the species she assimilated in the past take over her mind..and she keeps switching personalities from human to klingon to ferengi to a little girl....it was crazy! thats one of my fave eps! Seven is my favorite character! I also love B'Elanna

I find it funny that people seem to single out Voyager as having a "sexy character with tight clothing". Characters with overt sex appeal is something that has been a staple of all the series. Going back to the original series you had Uhura and her mini skirts, TNG with Deanna Troi, Jadzia Dax in DS9 and in Enterprise the Vulcan character T'Pol.

@0732jamie exactly my thoughts. Seven's character is so deep and versatile, Jeri's acting is so brilliant, and half the time we have young men talking of how her body is so appealing. They're missing the whole point for a little cheap excitement which they can get anywhere else too. If you want to watch bodies, you have much greater variety on TV than just Seven ;-)

She was amazing and still a huge rolemodel for me, and im sure many women who watched the series feels the same. And yes, sexy as fuck. I liked Kess but she didnt have the same depth (personal opinion) as Seven. The actor which played Kess was amazing (and I loved her short hair)

Yeh Jeri Ryan is a smoking hottie, Im really surprised she wasnt hugely popular in hollywood, becoming a well known actress like Angelina Jolie. Maybe its cus shes just too hot for most people lol.

Isn't it strange that though she was likely brought in for a T&A ratings boost by the execs, Seven (and The Doctor) ended up being the best and most interesting characters on that otherwise terrible show.

@DaveSimonH While I DO find Jeri Ryan to be attractive, I actually much preferred Jennifer Lien (Kes). Especially when they got rid of her short butch hairdo and gave her nice long curly blonde hair. And what I liked best about her was her voice... low, sultry, yet gentle. A bit like Marina Sirtis when she was voicing Deanna Troi. :)

The part about her being sexy that I didn't like was how it was played up. She couldn't just be a character in the show, she had to be the SEXY HOT BORG TURNED HOT HUMAN. Like, we can see that she is hot. But the promoters wanted that to be front and center and it (the sexy part) got old really quickly. It also, imo, started to take away from the complexity of the character.

I liked her because she was not sexy or thought she was sexy. Why does there always have to be sexy? What female's can't hold their own based on character alone?
