When measuring your fish does the mouth need to be closed when touching the stop or are you allowing an allowance for an open mouth? Most online tournaments state mouth closed when measuring or could be disqualified, judges decision on picture.

Great advice on the jerkbait. I use it a lot up here in East Tennessee. We got DEEP clear lakes and we got some that's not so deep and clear but you can catch them on Jerk baits!! Pretty dog gone too! Stay safe out there on and off the water and Semper Fi from an old Marine

Every time it pans down to little man, He's got one on! LOL. I think he could teach my buddies a thing or two. Dead on with trying new baits and colors in the spring. Thats all I do, and it helps in years to come. I fish a lot of shallow river smallmouth and this spring I'm going to work on floating jerkbaits for skinny water.

I have the xi3 works great. Only thing I find annoying is if you shut it off on a certain speed it keeps that in memory. Found out when it was turned off on high speed then turned back on it took off. Other than that love it. Anchor works great. Peace out be safe
