@@OneLynnK if you do some really stupid stats (we're talking about hitting the kings for 11 damage over and over) you can actually spawn 12! Edit: the same strat is ACTUALLY what explains how jerma got five kings. basically there is this hidden mechanic where if you hit enemies in the right spot with the blade you do slightly more damage, but the kings are a little weird in that the king itself can take MORE damage then the boss bar, so that's how jerma ended up with this tiny bit at the bottom. Swords avoid this a lot easier. so yeah, the more you know.

humanity is a really reliable source of healing though? you have infinite poise during the animation, and whatever damage you take during the animation you get back from the humanity. sometimes its just not worth taking the time to chug 2 or 3 times and to just simply pop a humanity
