To be fair Popcap themselves already had issues most don't aknowledge, they were very bad at managing themselves and like the other guy said sometimes stole ideas (Which shocked me as someone who grew up on Zuma). It's not as simple as EA buying Popcap just to ruin them, contrary to what most think, Popcap would've died altogether if they didn't get bought out, and Popcap themselves chose many of their contraversial descisions. For as many glaring issues as EA has, it's not a simple good guy bad guy story.

It's just that the studios either don't hold any IP's that are worth it or that the studios themselves don't do anything regarding working on games that causes EA to shut them down. Popcap at least is still going on and has not been shut down yet (as far as I know). EA buying them at least dictates that they'll live longer for a brief period, but most studios don't take advantage of that.

As a devoted pvz fan and someone who probably has actual medically undiagnosed OCD, this stream made me hate Jerma. Like I don't actually hate him, but during this stream specifically, I reverted back to caveman and wanted to STRANGLE him. Mustache doesn't do anything bad, just TYPE IT, STOP PUTTING THE WALLNUTS IN THE FARTHEST LANE, THEY WILL DIE FASTER FOR NO REASON. DON'T PUT MULTIPLE ICE PEAS IN THE SAME LANE WHEN THERE ARE STILL UN-ICE-PEA'D LANES. WHY ARE YOU "PANICKING" AT ONE BROWNCOAT NEAR YOUR HOUSE? JUST PUT A GODDAMN WALLNUT DOWN AND REBUILD YOUR DEFENSE BEHIND IT! WHY ARE YOU SO CONFIDENT IN YOUR INCOMPETENCE? STOP. this was not a chill stream for me and I was actually yelling out loud uncontrollably. (I may have a serious problem.)
