I concur. Guitar and singing. No problem. Drumming and singing. Still not that hard. Bass and singing? VERY hard! I’ve seen Jermaine play bass, sing, AND execute some challenging dance moves all at once. He’s my favourite Jackson sibling.
@chrisowens99774 ай бұрын
Exactly, it is very difficult to sing and play bass at the same time. It takes practice,and extra talent to do that.
@kre-8-tivediting9063 жыл бұрын
If anyone ever observed Jermaine as a kid ...let me say he was playing bass /singing his ass off and dancing at the same time. And if a few times the J5 played to the record let me enlighten those who are not musicians / His fingering was ALWAYS accurate! Been a musician for 50 years and Jermaine Jackson was the coolest guy to ever pick up a bass guitar!

True. In fact Tito just released his 2nd solo album this summer and it's getting great reviews. Even the staff at the Grammy Awards loves it. Plus Jermaine's single Let's Get Serious was named the # 1 Soul Single of 1980

There were rumors that he couldn't even play the bass and that there was someone else in the background playing it....not only did he prove that rumor wrong he played that bass as well as all the top bassist. In fact, he's singing and playing which is harder to do.
@dayshawna4 жыл бұрын
i watch old videos of the jacksons a lot just to see the small bits where he’s playing the bass, even if it was a backing track, you can obviously see he’s playing all the right notes every time, and there are plenty of live videos if you look close enough. and when he toured with the jacksons there were no backup bass players, it was only him. now tito on the other hand had two guitar players and himself and a lot of the times he was not playing what the music was playing in the background, so he makes me a little skeptical😂
@SupremeNerd2 ай бұрын
@@dayshawnaexcept Tito always played Lead guitar and that was evident. Rhythm guitar mat be another story

Great showmanship at 1:51, getting everyone to clap, Jermaine, but I had to find myself focusing on your mans in the background around 2:06 when everyone else has stopped and he's just enjoying himself, clapping off-beat until he finally realizes he's the only one still clapping... You know that whole "second-hand embarassment" thing...? Lmao
