I'm a little late on this but he actually does read a message from chat about halfway through the stream telling him that he can type adjectives and nouns at the same time. Then he starts doing it sometimes (though obviously not all the time because it's Jerma). He also starts using the green notebook around the same time, but not as often as he should. But it does get a lot less painful.
