Just saw Jerome's Dream at Pub Rock in Arizona! Their new stuff is great as well as the bands touring with them, my friend and I who came instantly got merch from JD and Elizabeth Colour Wheel. Just recently getting into Orchid so I'll check out more of their stuff!

Just picked up a very nice copy of the regular black version. Insert was printed on red card stock. The record store owner hooked me up with it for 40 bucks. I think that's a pretty good price for it. It came along in a huge box full of nothing but screamo records. Some poor soul sold off their collection it seems. The store has held onto it for me the past month and I have bought about 90% of it.

Some segments of JD’s side sound uncannily similar to Deathspell Omega, the French black metal band. It has something to do with their choice of rhythms and chords, I think(i.e a mixture of very disorienting, staccato, and erratic syncopation with these airy yet dissonant chords that ring out and linger in the mix)
