This was a great show during an excellent year! The scene at this show was so chill. Jerry was on fire, words are inadequate. 1989 was a year when all the psychedelic greats were touring The music never stopped indeed!!! This Deal is hot! Jerry's tone just tickles the soul!!!

This show stays with me. What an amazing night. Weir opened & played a gorgeous L.L.R. & Garcia was pure joy! I agree with the person below especially by the 90's, J.G.B was much better than the Dead. Mellower scence & no fucking midi!! I would've lost my mind if Jerry ever inserted a flute solo during Forever Young or a saxophone in Btead Box. This is pure Jerry & Tiger tone!!

Great video! Jerry's solos in Deal and Waiting For A Miracle are blistering. Heads up that the audio of the second set is way out of sync though. Hopefully this can be fixed and re-upped!

Another show I was lucky to see. Hope the 2cd set audio can be fixed. I was walking through the atrium of the Hartford Cvic Center a couple years ago and saw the giant pictures of Madonna, Paul McCartney, Gaga and Bono. I stopped and was silent for a moment and then burst out laughing at the posers!. Garcia was a treasure! All time Garcia show was at New Haven Colesium in 82. Show started at 11 and ended past 1:30 am after a full Weir show.....

Paul McCartney is not a poser, he is an COMPOSER, and a wildly talented musician. The Beatles would not have happened had it not been for Paul joining the band. The rest i agree with you on.

Jerry garcia and his very tiny band? Jerry the giant? I am not sure I like this effect. Its sort of demeaning to the band to make them tiny but to leave them out? I think they are established enough to show them in full every onece in a while, to better effect. Thanks for this.
