People always say as a rebuttal, "But the audience for those stores is for rich people so they won't care about the price tag" - still though. I don't care how rich you are; buying something that you can get for hundreds, even almost a thousand dollars cheaper somewhere else is straight up just dumb shopping at its finest. Also taking advantage of the fact that you know your audience is rich is still garbage, borderline robbery.

Yeah I don't wanna judge about family dynamics from a distance, but man, that kid seems like he gotta learn some damn manners. It's literally the same thing as going to lunch with someone and they offer to pay the bill and purposefully ordering the most expensive thing on the menu. It's courteous to order something average-priced (or for me, the cheapest menu items) because regardless of the person, IT'S NOT YOUR MONEY. That kid probably grew up around a lot of wealth/entitled LA hypebeast garbage, so he saw the opportunity and jumped at it. Not fuckin cool with me, though. I'd be pissed if that was my kid, even if the person buying was my own brother. Then again, it seems like the kid who bought the Off Whites is at that prime middle school age when you're literally just a piece of shit, so maybe I can't blame him. (I was cringey at that age, too, like a lot of people I'm sure lol.)
