@@mattdrago4660 awww man I can imagine how devastating that must have been for all of the fans at that time! Everything I’ve read from the viewers prospective at that time is how bummed they were about the show ending. It’s unbelievable to see the amount of ppl that watched the finale! That alone shows just how special this show was to the world! One more thing that I found really interesting was that another popular Chanel at that time actually left that time slot blank because they knew everyone would be watching Seinfeld. @@Jtone_philthy_aquatics Yeah, it's incredible how much this show brought people together. In school, me and my buds would quote lines over and over again and discuss how funny the latest episode was. Funnily enough, I remember Jason Alexander being the only principle cast member that didn't win an Emmy. They are all so talented in their own ways, but he's pretty special. Impossible to recreate Seinfeld. What made that work is that he was actually living that life at a particular point in time in the history of NYC. The city is not in that place now, and he is definitely not in that place. What would the jokes be? Managing wealth? Buying boats? I'm not saying that he doesn't deserve what he has, but it's not something that other NYers would want to hear about. Those Seinfeld bits were so real: the line at the movie theater, running out of toilet paper in a restroom, the neighbor who moves the cars for alternate side parking, getting soup at your favorite take out spot, just things that you would fall out of your chair because it had just happened to you last week!

Very true! This is the only american celebrity who can't get canceled. He focused on one thing and one thing only and became successful doing that. He is an old school, down to earth, observational comedian who understands the science behind making a joke. He created and sold a tv concept about nothing to the ENTIRE world. He put situational comedy on the map for everyone to see and basically invented the first tv show where consequences following actions are obsolete. He now interviews comedians, drives then around in vintage cars and talks about essentially nothing which also became a massive success. The moral of the story is, you don't need a story at all, raw comedy is the only thing that matters.
