Pretty trail with a Lookout Tower reward at the end & some great views. That's some good elevation for a challenge. I'll have to add this to my AZ someday list. 😊 Thanks for sharing!

I used to hike up Kendrick when I needed to make a decision. filled my day pack with heavy books, and by the time I got to the top, I would have figured out what I needed to do. Backpacked up there once. The guy manning the lookout was a friend of a friend. My group stayed in a cabin about quarter mile from the top. That night, the lookout guy dropped acid, and we could hear him shouting all night. You should move to Flagstaff, less driving to all the fun places you like to go.

Haha! I used to do the same thing only at Camelback Mountain (back when all I did was 'urban' hiking.) No books though since the summit isn't that relaxing. No idea there was a cabin out there.

They're fun. Don't see that they do any more damage than a regular bike out there, at least when it's dry. Still, most of my miles come from my own two feet.
