You will likely face network issues too. While cutting portion of the plastic for the speaker, you are cutting off portion of the antenna too (look for the silver/gold terminals in the plastic) for both the S8 and G6. Hey jerry! You are an inspiration! I made my G6 clear. Except for an *ISSUE* I discovered due to the removal of the charging coil, the coil had some gps antennas on em, The *GPS* refused to lock. So, for the geeks who attempt this retain the plastic part with the antenna niblets and it also fixes the motherboard, rather than having it loose at the cost of looks! Beware guys!

I did this on my LG G6 but have a tip for you guys who are also gonna do this. Don't remove the entire piece of plastic on the top. If you make it exactly like Jerry your earpiece and volume rocker won't work. Make a L shape of the plastic covering the earpiece and the volume rocker and everything works great.

I have also run into an issue where my gps is also very innacurate. I'm considering putting the wireless charger. Back in to see if that will fix it

After a few minutes i realise my earpiece is not working, after putting back the plastic(after cutting to only what i need 3 connector lines on the plastic) it worked again. Funny thing is, Samsung actually DO have batteries that can charge that fast, they are safe (impossible for them to explode - the GS8 battery is explode proof too but it still will get hot and damage the phone and destroy the battery if punctured - the new battery I speak of in the future can NOT explode as it has no liquids in it at all), last about 20 years and can have 10x the capacity of power to the biggest tablet/phone batteries currently in any brand device! Sadly, it will be a few more years until these solid state lithium batteries are in devices such as phones, laptops and tablets as they are still too expensive to mass produce! But, they DO EXIST!

Hey , excellent guide. I have the LG G6 and followed the guide. Only thing is now the phones audio doesnt work during a call now. The speaker phone works though. Any advice?
