@@thishdudeI know I’m not the guy you asked but I feel like I can speak on this since I too came from a iPhone 12 Pro Max. the battery life seems better on the 15 pro max. Realistic hours is it last me about 12-14 hrs with a significant amount of background apps using my data and constantly cycling alerts. I usually have to charge it though once a day since my days are usually 12-16hr work days. But I also am blessed to drive so plugging my phone in isn’t really a huge issue. I do have a battery pack that was from my 12 pro max and it works fine if I am outside ina Pinch.

@@thishdude no problem. If you are coming from a 12 pro max. My biggest flaw is that the 15 pro max phone doesn’t “vibrate”. I think they changed the vibration like whatever is the actual mechanism because it does not vibrate as hard or even as noticeable. It’s more so a soft “rumble” now. I personally at work love to have my phone on vibrate just so that the noise of an alert does not bother anyone with the perfect balance of me still being able to feel an alert. But this new haptic type of rumble for vibration is personally not it for me. It’s to soft. It’s not strong enough and I just don’t like it. Also the “silence” action button feature. Does just that. SILENCE. There’s no option to make it silent and rumble. It’s just silent. Maybe i don’t know what settings to go too since i just got my new phone 3 days ago. But so far that’s my biggest issue.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone prefer the feel with the case on. That's fair though, I think that's a genuinely interesting opinion that I hadn't thought about before. The inherent issue with the slipperiness is that you need friction to prevent that but then it's hard to get out of your pocket. Have you considered palming the phone where your index finger is resting on the Apple logo on the back? That logo is actually a bit anti-slip, so I put a finger on there to keep a good grip. You get what I'm saying here? Index finger on the relatively sticky/non-slip Apple logo, pinky finger propping up the phone on the bottom, with the thumb as the primary way to navigate the touch screen. Meanwhile Galaxy phones have been the same for 3 years and the Pixel 8 Pro is really just the Pixel 7 Pro with a couple of camera tricks. Pixel phones are still the slowest flagships with the worst battery life. 2023 is the year the iPhone innovated and matured at the same time

I received my iPhone 15 Pro Max and it would not connect to my Mac or restore from my recent iCloud backup. It did restore from a iCloud backup that was 1 month old. It didn’t connect to my WiFi or show the WiFi icon. I returned it within the 14 day period.

iPHONE 15 PRO C. 🤣. I actually like the design of the older phones in Alu or even the 5C plastic. Form factor and material was great. Size and internals are the real upgrades! I doubt that Apple will give up the Mag Safe gravy train but USB-C Thunderbolt would be my choice to not have a glass back. I would rather have a lighter tough rigid phone. A Unibody either ALu or plastic in XS size + 6.3 and also 6.9 sizes would be the way to go. By all means Apple can sell with other case suppliers ,Stainless Steel or Titanium cases. For those old enough my Nokias were indestructible. Phones these days seem to be made for Y-Tubers or those that don't do any Physical work. The comeback is to put a case on it that makes it more cumbersome for the physically active worker! My iPhone XR in a MOUS case is holding up well. Would be great if it was lighter and had a brighter screen 🫠

The back of the phone is much less durable, but also extremely cheap to repair on Applecare. Front/back damage on the phone 15 pro is now only $29 on Applecare. To me, that makes it MORE desirable for people wanting to go without a case. Personally on my 12 pro max, the back and front are both broken; having a supposedly more durable back didn't stop that from happening, and $29 is super reasonable, so idk. I personally think that this is the best time it's ever been to go without a case.

That’s not true! We were at the Apple Store on Wednesday my son drop his 15 pro and shattered his back glass in his OtterBox and with Apple care it was a 99.00 + tax deductible to get it fixed. The damage was so bad that they replaced the whole phone. We have Apple care + thank you T-Mobile.

Why is it that no one is talking about the missing SIM card tray, which has been replaced by a piece of plastic with no function other than filling the void of the SIM card tray? Esim technology still needs to be fully developed, and there are many countries where you cannot use this phone due to the country's infrastructure needing Esim technology. Thus requiring another phone that has a SIM card tray. What an inconvenience, but why do you still offer this phone in 10 countries with functional SIM card trays. So Apple WTF. NOT for everyone in heavy gaming. 17.0.3. is NOT the fix all cure. Overheating is not a problem in EVERY 15 Pro Max, so if you get a bad one just take it back as soon as possible. Fight for your rights and ensure you end up with a good one. 👍
