Just got my starlight iPad Mini. I need to get a smart folio and pencil now. Just not that thrilled with the color options of the folios. Of the available options, I'm torn between the electric orange and dark cherry.

Plug in what you need, be sensible about it & keep it movin' The construction is plastic but it's a sturdy piece. It has a single toggle switch & the swivel jacks are useful as well. Plugged in next to Tripp Lite Isobar takes some of these reviews with a pinch of sumthin' - does what it says & functions properly.Had for about a month. Perfect no complaints will update if anything changes.

Now that the Christmas shopping madness is over, I’ll be getting the iPad Mini 6th Gen. An Otterbox Defender case is a MUST!!!. My current iPad mini 5th Gen, is my “go to” device when I’m anywhere from home. My portable library (almost 100 ebooks, Bibles, etc) is “locked and loaded” in my backpack. The camera(s) is/are powerful enough to take great pictures and videos. The “mini” that “can do”, “Mighty Mouse”. Best presents come in little packages. Thanks Jerry for the great review. It really is a very versatile device. I has the second gen mini and just didn't feel like it was a good fit for me. Between hardware and software upgrades over the years ht mini has become my favorite iPad.

The mini is great for travel i had a previous mini. and it fitted in a coat pocket, it will be perfect for reading and games plus browsing the only downside is 64g if i was in the market for an ipad i would buy another one

The Mini feels like it was built for the post-pandemic era that's not quite here. If you're frequently reading or playing games on a train or at the coffee shop, it's great! But I'm still spending most of my time indoors, and it's tough to justify such a high price on a screen when I already have so many around me. And the 64GB is ridiculous for the price of 500 bucks! If they make it 128GB not 64 GB this will sell like hotcake imo!

I think you are right but, I think it is so expensive because of the a15 bionic chip which is the same chip in the iphone 13 which costs $800. And it is much bigger which means more materials and iPadOS which is much more versatile along with Apple Pencil compatibility and USB-C. When you look at it from a price perspective it is too expensive but you get a lot for a tablet that could easily last 5 years.

most people do not store stuff on their ipads. They use optimized icloud photos and occasionally download some netflix for a trip.

Great video, as usual. But, 2 corrections. 1. The iPad Mini 6 is actually smaller in size as compared to the iPad Mini 5 2. The A15 is actually slower than the ones in iPhones 13 (not that much, but still)

Correction for your point 2 1. iPad mini has same locked gpu core as that of iPhone 13. iPhone 13 pro models have everything unlocked. So it is slower than pro model.

Hey Jerry as a drummer here, i attached a usb-c to headphone jack to connect to a stereo speakers with a line in, however, its NOT loud. Anything you can suggest i can try to get it louder? I had no problems with ipad mini 4. I looked at all settings and cant find a problem...can you help?

Not sure about copy. They had this for, factor since like 2012 and just reduced the bezels. Its a great little tablet.
