Fair argument that New Jersey transit should get some of the cash from congestion pricing to fix up their own metro system.
@HorsemanExtreme12 күн бұрын
New Jersey should charge ONLY the NYers when they arrive to the state.
@TheJokeKiller12 күн бұрын
@HorsemanExtreme Great idea. Then New York should only charge those from New Jersey to enter the congestion area. Agreed?
@elizabethdavis169612 күн бұрын
Yes some of the money should go to improving the trains that take commuters back and forth between New Jersey and New York City maybe elevate that tracks so it’s grade separated and can go faster
@f-86zoomer3711 күн бұрын
New Jersey transit should be abolished. Widen the freeways. fix all the roads. Their trains run slow and are always delayed. And they're full of crime and homeless
@louisjohnson375511 күн бұрын
Maybe New York would give some of that congestion pricing money to NJ Transit if New Jersey didnt waste billions on widening the turnpike when that will just do nothing but make traffic worse. NY would’ve given them some of the money if they actually spent money on their transit system

There was no version of this plan that ppl were NOT going to complain abt. They’ll get use to it. If NYC ACTUALLY uses the money to update transportation this will remedy many of the complaints ppl have with public transportation. And if you don’t like that it’s crowded..maybe don’t move to or work in one of the most densely populated cities in the country. Just saying 🤷🏻♀️

Exactly!!!!! All roads in the entire country should be pay per use!!! I hardly drive yet my tax money goes to build and maintain roads that others drive their unnecessarily ginormous vehicles on while polluting the air that I breathe, producing noise I endure, and warming up the planet. When they have an oopsie moment, I might end up in the hospital. Private vehicles are truely the sociopathic way of transportation. At least they should pay for it.
