I worked in the high-speed packaging world for over thirty-five years, with hands-on experience; with some machines spitting out pieces at over one thousand a minute. Over that time I saw some awe-inspiring stuff and... things I would not connect to electricity. In a career spanning the time I did you get to know and appreciate innovative and amazing ideas born of and from a place of creative genius. I admire the thought and the well-executed process you possess. I know what I'm saying is worth exactly what you paid for it, but I am just amazed and awe-struck at your creative spark and ingenuity... Just pure genius!

I bought Jeremy's plans between 1-2 years ago. I really like his design with the only exception of the rigid forward facing idler bracket. So I copied HouseMade's pivoting idler bracket to make a Schmidt's House remix. I favor having more option than is needed because one can never predict the future.

Jer.....Jer.....you realize what you've done here, right?! What this will mean for bringing precision, surface grinding, metalworking for the home shop, and the variety of projects this will open up for even home making? I no joke think you might have revolutionized the market for basic shop and industrial machinery. EDIT: OMFG JEREMY, YOU BUILT AN INFEED RIG ON A MACHINE WITH A FLEXURE, ZERO BACKLASH MOUNT?!

Jer! You are a frickin genius! Thank you for sharing with us! I have been trying to find/design a decent and affordable surface grinder attachment for years! I bought your plans for the gen 1 grinder a few years ago and built it in my garage through covid. One of these days when i get the funds ill out a good motor on it. Thank you for sharing your designs with the world! You are greatly appreciated!

Jer, I've been watching your videos for many years now. In fact I bought one Made in America, American flag from you to put on my own grinder, perhaps you remember. Your attention to the smallest detail is commendable. I truly wish more consumer products had your level of thought applied. You are simply brilliant. I have not yet seen a better or more useful design of a 2x72 belt grinder. If you could reproduce them en mass they would be the Hilti of Home Depot tools. The Snap-On of Harbor Freight. The best above the rest. Nothing really compares. Beautiful work Jer.

Totally pro!!! Totally. And there were three things that really surprised me, the use of flex plates instead of machined ways, getting away with only one ball race carriage on each track and deep setting the magnets under JB Weld. Re the magnets: I thought that epoxy mix had steel particles which would partly shield the field. And I would expect better holding power if the magnets were right at the working surface directly in contact with the work. But I can see how epoxy fills in the empty spaces around each magnet to allow easy removal of debris. And JB Weld will give you a long wearing surface compared to the rare earth magnet material. Those magnets tend to chip and crumble. You did a great job developing this attachment. Bravo!
