When you want your channel to look good by winning on turn two but you also don’t want your channel to look bad by losing on turn two. That was such an epic game, and with all that tight editing you would never know it was almost two hours long!

There is an interesting interaction between Mana Drain and Veil of Summer. Veil of summer states that the spell on the stack cannot be countered, but does not have hexproof. So a card like mana drain still resolves, does not counter the spell, but still adds mana on the next turn.
