It would have been really great to have Cameron from Play to Win on as a guest to help talk about the Jeska/Ishai deck that he is known for.

The best part of the deck is that their names combine into "Jeskai" and that is just so funny.

I love how you always manage to talk about Sisay in almost every decktech. As a fellow Sisay Lover it's always a delight.

Jeska Ishai player here. thoracle usually isn't played in our deck as we usually just get infinite mana to infinitely cast Jeska which usually means bomberman

Ishai is so much fun. Great colors and can just OHKO people just by sitting there. I love my higher powered Ishai/Thrasios deck.

I've been trying out 3 drop Teferi and Displacer Kitten in my list and have really been liking it. Gives you a line that is difficult to interact with and can lead you to your wins pretty easily.

Good points raised on what to be wary of when playing this commander pair. :)

Thank you I think it is somewhat the most importent thing to think about when playing this.

First maybe but also I was thinking of upgrading my brallin//shabraz deck to this pair since they do kinda the same thing but the commanders a cheaper!

I feel this from belbe/ tymna both commanders do way less the less people that are at the table

I have an Akiri/Ishai winconless stax deck. And it's amazing fun! Just beating people up with big commanders. Akiri with First Strike + Vigilance and grows bigger with all your stax pieces. And Ishai is just a huge beater.

As the resident tymna/kraum player in my group, I can't stand this deck since I'm usually target number one getting falcon punchef turn 3... even after begging and pleading that I'm not the current threat

Mons, I have a question that might be worth a discussion video. Let's take a scenario where player A and player B are both presenting a guaranteed win on their turn. Player C has no way to stop either of them, and player D only has 1 counterspell. It is player As turn. Does player D use his counterspell on player A, knowing he will just lose to player B, basically Kingmaking for player B, or does he do nothing and let player A win, knowing he would lose to player B anyway, basically Kingmaking for player A?
@DoubleBeast2 жыл бұрын
Not Måns, but if it is certain that both Players A & B can present a win that will be thwarted by Player D's counterspell, Player D should reason with A to not go off because he (Player A) will be stopped. Assuming Player A complies, Player B will likely be discouraged from attempting to win once it's his turn if he does not draw into protection. If Player B does, there's nothing anyone can do about it, but it is the right course of action for Player D to try buying himself another turn through negotiation with Player A.

I am of the mind that you should make the game go for as long as possible. The longer the game, the more opportunities for answers. You can also show the counterspell to the table. Then that gives player A the choice to kingmake Player B.
