100% same, Play to Win is absolutely one of the main reasons this channel even exists, and it was so fantastic getting to work with Cam for this video and Dylan for Saturday's. Thanks for checking it out!

I love this deck:) Cam is right about lack of card advantage, which is a real pain in the ass haha. I tried adding various things, switching and swapping like fact or fiction, pull from tomorrow etc but they didn't work so well, even in a more midrangey list. One card I did try AND like was Teferi, Master of Time. TmoTime's loot ability feeds UBreach, and he can threaten 2xExtra Turns which means death with Ishai in play. I also may try Displacer Kitten combos in the near future. I can use Trinket Mage to fetch a 0 cmc rock, Kitten in play or Dockside/Baby Teferi loops with DKitty. Just trying things.

Just gotta experiment until you get it exactly how you want it! If we keep getting cards like Esper Sentinel it doesn't seem like any deck will have to worry about card draw. Kitten loops with Dockside get crazy so fast.

Great vid! Nice to see my fav deck! If you're taking requests Thrasios/Tevesh would be dope!

I appreciate your guides, can I ask you, are you planning to do Marwyn also?
@LemorasCards2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I don't currently have it in the upcoming schedule, but maybe at some point. For mono-green I think the soonest one to expect will probably be Selvala.

@@LemorasCards I understand, but as monogreen engine is similar (not the same), I am looking forward to it. Thanks :)

Hello! Kind of a weird question, but I want to pull my DnD playgroup into competitive EDH. They are familiar with the rules of MTG, but they just don't play it that much. As a group of four, we are looking to print some decks/proxies so we can get a taste of the format as best as we can. My question is: What four decks are best to print out so we can have the best playthrough possible? Do I go for a more diverse table with everything in it Stax/Turbo/Midrange/Control? I would ask them what their favorite commander is, but the reason for their answers wouldn't go as farther than "I like the art of this commander". Many thanks! We're excited to spend the holidays playing some kitchen-table CEDH! Hopefully you can suggest a deck from your pool of videos so they can have a thorough guide.

I think it's kinda tough to try to make an ideal pod that creates perfectly balanced gameplay. I think in general I wouldn't recommend too many stax decks for newer players, Winota can be an exception if that especially interests one of them. I would probably prioritize midrange and turbo options. If you were sticking to decks I've covered, I think Niv-Mizzet, Yuriko, Najeela, Kess, Jeska/Ishai, and/or maybe Temur Malcolm would be my picks, adding Winota if that interested someone at the table. I think generally decks that highlight the interactive nature of the format and a bit of the craziness is a good place to start, and once someone gets into the game more then I'd introduce more of the heavy stax and manual storm that may be overwhelming at first.

Specifically for a gameplay video I'm working on, we used Niv, Najeela, Yuriko, and Korvold, and the games went pretty well without much issue except Korvold, which can be a pretty tough deck to get through storm turns with for newer players.

@@LemorasCards Thank you! You are so awesome! Niv/Yuriko will definitely have a place. Can't go wrong with ninjas and dragons! Leaning toward Niv, Yuriko, Najeela, and Kess. Korvold might be too much balls to the wall.

@@shinrajunichirou43 I think that's a pretty great pod to start with.
