8:24 is my favorite "Buy ferns" (I think that's what she's saying), the way she tilts her head, smiles, and says it in that sweet tone. 8:19 is my second favorite "Mommy, I'm Fern". Jessa has caught so many amazing moments of her kids on tape. She is so lucky. If these videos are any indication, her kids are so well loved. They will have no problems making it in life. Love produces confidence & validation. We should all look to Jessa as an example. Jessa is a real mother.

This is the sweetest thing. We have five kids aged 7-16. This video brought me right back to seven years ago when our fifth was born. George is so cute!! Letting the kids help with the meal prep is a great way to encourage them to eat healthy!! I love that things such as chores and naps are set up according to age and that you're not running a one size fits all family order!! These kids are all so kind and sweet! How do you avoid the typical kid issues like refusing to do something? I was amazed that Fern just happily put on her shoes to go to the store - Most kids her age throw a fit and don’t want to do anything unless it’s their idea lol. You should really write a book on raising kids or do some videos on how you handle tantrums/meltdowns/etc. Really impressive!

We purchased two ferns every year at our country home in 7 acres for the first 15 yrs. as our children grew . One hung from a chain wrapped around the branch of a large maple tree and the other from a Jacobs ladder next to the steps and handrail leading into our sun porch. We still have the chain and the Jacobs ladder but no ferns for several yrs. now. I think I’m going to ask for ferns for Father’s Day . Thanks for reminding me how pretty they are in spring and summer Jessa. As you can guess from my short story the kids have grown and moved away however not far so now the grand children have come to visit and stay on weekends. Nine currently four girls five boys and one on the way god willing . Bless you and your growing family as well . Some day when your children have grown one day you might remember the short story I shared with/ you and your. The written word as powerful as a KZbin video if your creative.
