@otey7326 Did you even watch Keane play? His teammates weren't scared of him at all. And he captained the greatest United team ever, demonstrated by the fact they did something no other United team (nor any other English team without cheating) managed; the treble.

@otey7326 when has he ever made that admission in his punditry? I'm sure terrible things were said many times in the tunnel, during games, during players careers but what you can't do is shame Roy for being a people pleaser or playing to the gallery. He knows what he thinks and says it and I respect that.

So apparently Roy Keane is a representative of a certain English culture? Nah mate, he's just a person that doesn't get carried away in sensationalism like most pundits do. You need someone like that to remind you of reality sometimes, sure it can be a bit negative, but I rather a guy like that on my team than a guy who praises you for getting a simple pass right.

@Ooth9999 He wasn't negative as a player. Hated losing would do what it takes to win games. A bit negative as a coach, fell out with players, wasn't offered big jobs as a coach. Can't adapt to some of the 'modern' players and has my sympathy for that. Good pundit but a lot of Sky Sports and other sports commentary is clickbait negativity to increase their audience for advertisers.
