As a recovering addict I can admit that my first time was about that wonderful. It was one of the best and not yet known at the time, worst days of my life. Breaking bad is probably the best show I have ever watched but I cant help but wonder why after the end of the second season Jesse seems to still have problems with meth but seems to completely forget about heroin.

There are veins everywhere in your body, not just your arms. They all carry blood (and in this case Heroin) to your heart, which then pumps it everywhere in your body, which means that a small portion of the heroin goes to the brain, which gives you the high. It probably takes longer to kick in, if you do it from the legs like Jane though, but maybe she wanted to feel, how much longer it takes, compared to when she did it in her arms 18 months ago.

I can answer this. I too am a recovering heroin addict. Jesse can easily forget about the heroin because its just not his drug of choice. meth is. not to mention that heroin is the reason that someone he absolutely loved is dead. he can easily just be sickened by heroin for that sole reason alone. i had a small run with cocaine but i never adored the high like i did with heroin. not doing coke is easy. its my drug of choice thats hard to not think about and not want to do. this help?
