Not gonna lie, the whole 'What counts as water?' thing kinda has been livin rent free in my head ever since they brought it up whenever I mix up some sort of water based drink. Granted this also might be because like 99% of what I tend to drink these days is ether MiO or instant ice tea.

From what I remember (because I used this trick as a kid playing FF6 too) the Vanish/Doom trick worked because Vanish made the target immune to physical attacks but extra vulnerable to magic so the instant-death spells which normally would almost never work would now work 100% of the time. It did work with X-Zone too but X-Zone had the extra caveat of not just killing the target but sending them to a whole other dimension, which sounds like just a whole lot of flavor text but I know at least one situation of a this one optional boss that wandered the map that dropped a special magicite when beaten that wouldn't drop said magicite if you Vanish/X-Zoned him for just that reason.
@altairian8
@altairian8 6 ай бұрын
Super late to the party but as an addition to this: the bug related to this is that enemies that the game has flagged as a "boss" are immune to doom, but using vanish on them for whatever reason removes that immunity allowing you to instant kill bosses. Something I learned watching GDQ runs! There's also cool things speedrunners have found with slots in ff6 where they can guarantee instant kills.

i would suggest a west highland terrier for rodent control (if the cat doesn't work out) ours made sure to kill anything small it would even try too attack small fireworks. I am sure the other breads do the same but this one is very small in size and get into small spaces. He would make a perimeter around our back yard and would walk it every day to make sure no tresspassers. He did it so much he made a path in the grass. Good Dogo

Dodger talking about singing lessons reminds me, I recently made a nostalgia playlist and the amount of this playlist that consists of Hiimrawn is staggering. Probably like half of it is Hiimrawn and Dan Bull. So I’ll be listening to Dodger sexy rap about Zelda characters and I’m like “it’s weird to think now she’s just a mom with a farm in England who sometimes streams video games I guess.”😂

1:07:37 It's hard not to think of Osmosis Jones whenever I hear people bring up Cells at Work. I love how it just depicts a regular day in Bill Murray's life 😆Also, Laurence Fishburne portrays such a sinister character there. Thrax was such a menacing villain for an anthropomorphized virus. The Cells at Work anime is definitely a fun watch, definitely a good edutainment show. It even has a " code black" version that talks about the more "mature" stuff that our body can do.

Part of me that still finds it so funny how differently dog owners and cat owners respond to things that are very similar in regards to their pets. A dog owner will be like "My dog learn to respond to their own name! It's obviously so smart." Where cat owners often will be like "This little fucker learned how to turn off my computer while I'm using it if I'm not giving it enough attention."

naw there descriptions of 4rth really depends on where you are. I'm in Utah and it's so freaking huge here. We as gamers of course like Jesse use it as an excuse to stay home and keep our cats calm. Most people here are expected to spend the day doing 1 of 3 things. Either you go to the huge parade that goes through the city, which has huge floats and all the marching bands, clubs, firefighters etc... or you're dragged to the local community theater to watch some homebrewed musical about patriotism that the teenagers volunteer for, or you are at a huge neighborhood potluck bbq cookout that will cover the whole block, and each block sets off their own sets of fireworks. The evening is spent setting off fireworks. Those ones that are illegal in less idiotic states oh yeah you can blow those up here. It does sound like a war zone, and this year the local stadium had their fireworks have technical difficulties fired off into the crowd and injured a bunch of people. Will they have them again next year, bet your bottom they will, because people need their explosives and country music. TT
