Thanks for the video. I've been cutting my own hair for 7 years and enjoy learning from barbers doing self cuts. Music was on point. Thanks for keeping it simple and not ranting on different subjects. Subscribed ✔️

I overlapped my blades when zero gapping 😂 I guess since clippers have flex and trimmers don’t it will allow the blade to flex and cut you. Tried it on my hand first and I was right

si,mucho mas facil que usar otro espejo para verse atras. Yo me corte a mi mismo por primera vez hace una semana y la parte de atras es complicado si lo haces sosteniendo otro espejo, pero se puede

Can I leave the shaver part out if I don’t have one?
@ReneGonzalez-rf3tm9 ай бұрын
Yes, you don’t need to shave. You can just use a trimmer for the zero like he did initially. Shaving just makes it cleaner/last longer like he mentioned.

He’s referring to the lever on the side of the clippers, that will increase or decrease the moving blade closer/farther to the stationary blade. Taking off more (lever closed) or less (lever open) hair.
@ameurrs6 ай бұрын
@@ldsjohnlno, watch carefully. His 1 guard is red whole his 1.5 guard is black. They’re two different guards and not all machines come with half guards… Although you can still fade with pulling/pushing your lever, it wont be as easy as using half guards as he is doing

you gotta actually teach and give pointers, some of them don’t know how to do some of the guideline fading and taking out the line, so you can’t just say “just fade it” you gotta show what guard, tell us the guard, and explain which lines it takes out, whether to use flick motion against the grain… overall good video tho…
