I dated a body builder who was tall 6'2 and very muscular and strong. He concentrated on sculpting his body shape which was very nice. My dad was in the SAS which is the UK's Special Air Service I think its akin to a Seal in regards to being a special service. My dad was quite short at 5'7 and had a stocky build, he was much stronger and fitter than my boyfriend. Had a much stronger core and a squarer shape. He was also agile and fast. There is something very different about a man from the special services that is hard to explain. Its a sort of inner strength and deadly calmness. Its like an unbending force. I think mind over matter plays an essential role in this type of man. I always felt safe and secure when my dad was around. The body-builders are very handsome though.
@sharkness012 ай бұрын
It's his inner strength which is something you are born with or not. Males & Females...say, giving birth to a child is very painful, very strenious. Raising children's, especially boys is also very demanding.

I mean... body builders just don't train for strength. Like at all. Body builders are very strong just cause muscle mass makes it so, but muscle built for strength is shockingly different than muscle built for pure mass. Navy SEALs don't necesarily train for strength either, they train to kill, but that requires being as strong as possible. A more apt comparison would be a power lifter to a Navy SEAL, but yeah obviously SEALs have the mental toughness/calmness that their training gives them.

@invaderjoshua62808 ай бұрын
The difference between military personnel and bodybuilders is military guys are way more well rounded in their fitness. It’s not just strength but also stamina that’s focused on. I guarantee 99% of military guys could run a bodybuilder into the ground.

Yeah it's called a sumo lift, and it's always been debated whether it should even count in competition. Sumo lifts are easier. Seals won that easy because they used conventional, not some cheese lift technique that shouldn't even be considered.
