I thought that I love Sebastian. He's surely my favorite character within the series and I hope that by the end of book 6 you will come to love him too. There is a lot to his character and even though he might appear pure evil it feels like there's something there that is fragile and broken. I felt for him when he gave clary his scarf, and that's a very human thing to do. In that moment I think he was really concerned for his sister and that's something Valentine couldn't have taught him. Sebs is just my bae

Brother Zachariah is our cute Cinnamon roll hehe, I love his parts in the book. 💖 Alec was legit losing it but the breakup really broke my Malec heart. I still feel the book failed to present the depth of their relationship. Malec representation is so beautifully perfect in the TVseries though.❤️ Sebastian ruined a lot by lusting over Clary , it was definitely creepy and his reasoning kinda disgusting. I cried for Jace. He is so tortured in every book. I felt so bad for him 😭 I was like enough, stop hurting him please. He just suffers in silence all the time🥺. I saw so much of character development in Simon here. Him becoming more mature, more sensible, more brave, more accepting and understanding. Hail Simon Senpai 🌠

I loved every part of the book, I cried when Simon told Rebecca about himself and how she accepted the truth about him. I also loved that Brother Zachariah was in the book. LIKE: AAAAA YES. He wanted to protect and help the last bloodline of Herondales who was Jace. I also admired how Clary suddenly became more of a ... fighter? like she was so brave!!! and mostly MALEC- it was so sad to to see the breakup of Magnus and Alec. It broke my heart to see them seperating from each other :'((

i just can't understand why people blame alec for their breakup.he is only 18 years old and magnus+400 years old.magnus should be wiser he has been in so many relatanship and still has a problem to communicate with his partner. alec in new to lgbt community he does not know anything about it. yes magnus past realatinship is his and in the past so alec shound'nt be upset about it.but magnus past is important.that past made magnus what he is now. alec has right to know about his past and everytime he ask about it magnus change subject!alec is trying to communicate,magnus is not!and considering about making magnus mortal is nothing like doing it! alec did bad thing but not as bad as everyone say! magnus know camile and her mind game and how good she is at it... so i think magnus is more at fault than alec. and alec does not deserve so much hate.i actually think alec is one of wisest character in TSC.even in the first three book of TMI.he is just new to love and relatanship and made mistake.other charcter made mistake too maybe worse that alec but because his mistake has something to do with imortality and jealousy he is terrible. sorry for my long comment i just need to take it out of my heart and sorry for my bad english ❤❤❤❤❤

Yes! I agree wholeheartedly about this! Alec had never been in a relationship before Magnus and Magnus did not communicate well at all. Alec fell in love with Magnus so quickly and so hard that he's terrified of leaving him behind. So yes, contemplating making Magnus mortal was a very dumb thing to do but Alec was an 18 year old who is trying to learn how relationships work while also being proud of who is he. I dont feel like the Alec hate was ever deserved

I hate these Infernal Devices references being thrown around. I'm gonna have to read them and then reread the Mortal Instruments. Yes, that ending surprised me! Unexpected. I'm hoping Magnus doesn't return. It will teach Alec a lesson, which he needs to learn. Can't be doing that Alec.
