One of the houses was owned by a lady who was an angel, I thank God for her all the time. She treated us so well. The beautiful music which accompanies this scene makes its own beauty twice as impressive! The warmth of Celia, the love of her husband and their affection for Minnie all blend together to make this the most poignant moment for me in the entire film. The thing about Celia is that her heart is always in the right place , even if the situation doesn't call for it or its misunderstood. And Minnie with all the weight of the world on her shoulders can still see that clearly. It's suggested here that Minnie rescued Celia, and that can't be denied, even her marriage she rescued. And Minnie helped Celia find her balance. And its suggested here that Celia is going to rescue Minnie from her man and give her a home in one of the homes on the property. I like to think of that outcome and help Minnie send her kids to school and whatever else they might need. Very powerful performances here and the whole movie. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
