That was incredible-a master class in makeup. Mary and Lisa's both share a gift not just for colour and application, but for knowing what to "keep back" as Mary put it. Other lesser talented MUA would have filled in the brows, or added eye liner or false lashes and made it far too heavy.

An ex assistant of mine had quite a lot of tattoos, she now lives in LA with a very successful career (making up A-Listers for the red carpet etc). It never personally bothered me that she had them as she was and is a really charming girl with talent and a very professional attitude. X

Then to be shown not only the correct contour color, but also the proper contour technique for a natural contoured effect. Well, all I can say is, Mary is a genius at artfully creating beauty. I really do like Mary's minimal, relaxed approach to makeup ... I do feel like a lot of all these different expensive brushes are exaggerated nowadays - at the end of the day, a brush is a brush. You have to be a true artist, I think, to achieve what she can with these lovely colours. It's also much more accessible and encouraging to the viewer :)
