Your blocks are like tiny pieces of heaven! Your video explaining how to piece together something so small is clear and concise with unobstructed views of the construction process. Well done!

Love your little bitty blocks. I just can’t tackle that yet. Lol. Those would be sooo cute adding them to tea towels for all the seasons. You always have the cutest projects and have an amazing teaching style. Being completely honest. It’s the whole package… your voice, simplistic style and instructions, eye for color, and encouraging. Your QALs and blocks of the week tutorials are sooo good and I encourage everyone to at least try one. You won’t regret it. Jessica’s book Precut Parade is great and she mentioned releasing individual patterns since book is no longer being printed. There is also a free pattern called Nona that was released in conjunction with a Bernina, if I remember correctly. Please share her page with anyone you know that loves quilting beginner to advanced. She puts her heart and soul into this craft and takes us along the away day after day. It must be lots of work and I personally thank you for all that you do. PS. She had no idea I was writing this and only know Jessica by watching her videos, reading blog, and following her on Instagram. ❤

I love your teaching method. Have you ever designed a sampler quilt? All these random squares would look great in a sampler. Perhaps you can do a video showing us how to go about it. I have so many unfinished projects and thought a sampler would look great with all these blocks. I don’t have a designer bone in my body, only old bones. Lol

I've designed many sampler quilts. There are a few in my shop and a few that we have made as quilt alongs that are in my 'to-do' pile to turn into purchasable patterns.

These blocks are so dang cute! I dont have a computer/printer though 😢. Would you be willing to sell them printed out? Also you have a pattern in your shop (night time sky i believe) and it says stars are fpp. Can i sew them traditional piecing by any chance? Thanks Jessica! ❤
@jessica_dayon3 ай бұрын
Sorry, I only sell PDFs currently. Others have had success buying the PDF and then printing it at their local library so maybe that'll work for you. The Nighttime Sky star blocks can only be done by FPP. After you FPP the star blocks, the rest is assembled traditionally. Thanks!

I love tiny FPP. I disagree with back stitching, not necessary, every end will be stitched over. You’re adding bulk with back stitching. I use a small stitch length like 1-1.5 and stitch to past the seam. Also for tiny FPP, use 1/8th seam, they make a “Add An 1/8th” ruler, very helpful.
