Vacations have soooo much going on that dressing for all the things is so much more fun than trying to make a few items do multiple duty. I second this! I love dressing up for everything on vacation. It feels even more special that way. When else do you get to wear nice dresses for dinner multiple nights in a row? 😅 I also have so much fun and feel so free experimenting with fashion in places where no one knows me. I could never be a carry-on-only person.

My God Jess, you make packing look so easy. I always struggle, I've tried all methods the latest being the roll up method like you just rolled up your clothes but they bulk up and take so much space and some clothes won't roll,they'd rather be folded. Thank you for sharing ❤.

I think the edit makes it look easier than it was haha 😅 but I've definitely nailed down a routine after the last several years!! For the most part I like rolling, but I definitely agree that sometimes clothes just don't wanna roll haha, so there a few things that I'll just fold sometimes - sweaters, jeans, certain tops. But honestly, it's whatever works best for you on each trip!! As long as you get there, you did it haha 🥰

Jess! I was JUST searching up what I need to pack to go to the Philippines in August, and your video popped up just when I need it. This will be my first time going to the Philippines even though I'm filipino and I'm soooo nervous. But I'll try to have fun. If you have any tips to go, pleaaaase let me know

Omg what perfect timing!! That's so exciting though - you'll love it!! 🥰 I think some of my good general tips are in the video, but a few others that come to mind would be: - Lightweight (not hot) loungewear / pjs for an extra layer against mosquitos and critters - Long, thicker socks for the same reason around dawn / dusk or in grassy beach areas - You might pull out cash to convert to pesos, but since they give it to you in larger bills, break one or two as soon as possible into smaller bills and coins (coin purse!) so you're ready for transit and quick little transactions - If you use google maps, you can download whole areas as an offline map to get around without using data or if you go somewhere without signal - My last tip is to have so much fun!!! Prep however you like but then just enjoy what I'm sure will be a wonderful experience!! 🧡🌴🧡🌴🧡

I knew I was forgetting to include something! I like using citronella oil and I usually bring a bottle of OFF with me. There are some mosquito repellent products I want to try out, so maybe closer / during the trip, I can follow up with recommendations for whatever I find works best ☺️
