The stove knob with the two sides is if you have a smaller pot. So one side of the knob is if the pot is smaller and you only need a small burner and the other side is if you need the full burner. I hope that makes sense 🥴the other burner that is just normal numbers all the way around is just one big burner 😊. Love you guys! Happy new year !

With the burners, ours have one that gets hot faster to cook something quicker. The other one is not as hot. So I do my pastas over on the hot burner and regular dishes on the other.

I get complimented on my rice all the time. Don't listen to the package. Put 2 cups of rinsed rice (yes, this makes a lot, but you like fried rice, so use the leftovers for fried rice the next day) in 3-3/4 cups of cold water. Bring to a full boil. Put the lid on and simmer on low for 17 minutes without removing the lid. Then take it off the burner, put the lid a bit to the side to let the steam escape, and let it sit for 2-3 minutes. Fluff, and enjoy perfect rice!

My rice to water ratio is 2 cups of rice and 4 cups of water and I cook it exactly like you. Comes out great every time.❤

I was eating a milkshake right when you were talking about it. My favorite way to make one (I like them thick) is to keep glass mugs in the freezer. Fill full of vanilla ice cream, add chocolate syrup and a splash of milk. I use a spoon to blend it and these tiny ice crystals form because of the frosted mug. So good! My fav way to use kielbasa is to slice like you did and brown in a little olive oil with slivered onions and green peppers. I cook some angel hair pasta, drain add to meat and veggies and coat well with EVOO. I like pasta like this better than with red sauce. Quick to prepare and delicious. Looking forward to seeing what the Bunkys and sweet Daisy Mae get into in "2025".❤

Thanks. I want to make rice now. Yum! 😋 You can make so many recipes using rice. My mother puts a little oil in a skillet, then onions, next rice with salsa or ketchup and sliced hot dogs. She lets it cook covered until done. So good. My Mom calls it fried rice. Childhood memories for me right there. I loved this as a kid and so did my 12 siblings. Yes, you heard right. I’m #6 of 13 children that my parents had. We are all their biological kids too. My family and I still celebrate all of the holidays and all of our birthdays together. Sometimes it can get a little crazy but that is what we love about having a big family. I wouldn’t want it any other way. I love my family so much. This is all we have besides others we love. Jessica, you and your husband are fantastic cooks. I will never get tired of watching your videos. I love them all! I will continue to watch them until the day you eventually stop making them if it came to be that way. I like spicy so I buy the hot smoked sausage. I cook until toasted well, then remove and add a lil oil and i add sliced onions, red and green bell peppers. Add a lil knorr Chicken bouillion, 1/4 cup water, onion powder, garlic powder and black pepper.

The one burner can be used as a small burner using the left side of the dial. Which turns on the center and an inner heating coil. The right side of the dial turns on the whole burner. The outer heating coil will also come on. Hope this makes sense

Your stove has an option for using small burner or large burner, on the nob with numbers on each side. The small burner option is made for smaller pans and the large burner side of the nob is for large pans. I hope this makes sense. I had a stove like that before. Mine stove has a dual eye. You can use a smaller pan or a larger pan while adjusting the burner size to fit the pan size.

Jessica please try this! Make the kielbasa like you did when it’s finished browning add a big spoonful of apricot persevere to it. It will melt and coat the kielbasa. It’s delicious! I usually keep it warm and serve with pineapple for an appetizer!!!
