It always feels nice when you can see the results of all the little projects around the house!😍 It's funny how Daisy Mae started sleeping in a new position and you had to buy a bigger bed!😋 But yes, the fur baby has to be comfortable too!😉 The chicken and pasta looks delicious!🤤 I can see different veggies making it great!😘 Growing up in Texas, I can't tell you how many times we've had rain and sunshine at the same time!😅 But lately we've been having thunderstorms, mostly on Friday nights. And we've been having a lot of 100° days. We're hardly in June and it already feels like August.🥵 During the last thunderstorm, it went down to the 60's.☺️ It's great to see all the things you've done around the new house and excited for the things to come! Now you just need to get the truck back and the connector for the Blackstone!😚 Thanks for sharing another great video!🥰

Yeah, we had a memory foam mattress, and we hated it! We dealt with it for several years because we couldn't afford to replace it, but it was bad. They are not good for adult activities, if you catch my drift! Also, it made me very hot to sleep on, and I would sweat all night, even when we turned the temperature down in the room. We now have a more traditional mattress, and it is like heaven to sleep on.

Not all memory foam mattresses are the same. We have one that is covered in a cooling fabric and it does exactly what it's supposed to do, keep us cool. We have a Temperpedic and love it.

Jessica, I just wanted to pop on and tell you that I know at Rooms to Go, You can buy a thin flat boxspring and they call it a Bunky board. We have one on our bed even though we don’t need a boxspring. We just felt it would help support the mattress a little bit more, so that may be an option to get one of those boards and then It would give something for your bedskirt to hang off of. Love how the new bed and bedroom is coming together. I can’t wait to see what carpet you put in there.

We’ve had the exact mattress for 4 yrs now & we let our inflate for 3 full days before sleeping on it. It’s the most comfortable bed still. I think you needed to let it inflate longer than 1 night.

Love your channel been watching for a long time. I have a Zinus spa therapy mattress and the bed frame came from them, I purchased it in 2021 from Walmart on line they was a little cheaper than Amazon. I got the bed put together and put the mattress on it so it could come to life, didn’t sleep in this room for about a year cause I redone the whole room from walls to flooring. I will say this is now my favorite room in my house💯 I got a queen cause I have two fur babies (cats) and the Zinus mattress is absolutely amazing! I can set a drink on the bed roll over it doesn’t move honestly it don’t. Zinus is a very good product and I hope you love your bed as much as I absolutely love mine. ❤from Tennessee

I have a wonderful soft waterproof mattress cover. To protect mattress (remember it’s foam so absorbs liquids) Try sleeping in a Queen with an 80pound Boxer in the middle of us.

Try getting a queen bedskirt- there is 18” difference in width between a standard king and queen. Boxsprings are traditionally 9” so if the king bedsidt was just too big then the queen might fit how you want.

Another good video, love seeing your new home and following your updates. I know I have said it before but it deserves repeating your taste on decorating is soooo wonderful. I love everything you decorate with, it's all so cozy and warm, great job Jessica. Also, just a suggestion if you have a Home Depot in your area, you should go there and try to get a rug for the bedroom. I have bought a couple of them from there and love them. Also, if you go online with Kohl's they also have great rugs. Just a little tip from me. 🥰

We call it shrimp sauce but we put it on everything. I make a quart at a time as it will keep a long time! Great on French fries, sandwiches, wings, veggies, as a bread dip & more.

Jessica, I made the hibachi last night and oh my word. I had gotten foundered on hibachi just because it never turned out good. But this was a game changer. I had to make do with the dry seasoning however I ordered some from Sam’s and I can’t imagine it being better but I’m sure it’s an improvement from my concoction. Anyway thank you. I’m eating leftovers right now and it’s just as good the second day. I made the yum yum with homemade mayo. 😋

I think God my Mother raised me to use a gas stove. We had an Ice Storm once. My In-laws had to come down & stay with us because we had a Fire Place & a Gas Stove. We had to put 2 Mattresses in our Living Room so we could by near the Fireplace.
