I think not only the soulfulness of the song trespasses much better through the acoustic version, but also, what makes this covers so amazing, is the freedom that Jessie shows. With that freedom, not only she gives the raw emotion of the song much more clearly, but also she show how talented she is. She has total freedom to do whatever she wants with her songs, cause her voice is crazy in many terms: - She has control like no one else does. Can we just appreciate her rifs/runs? I mean... - The technique and the experience she has make her able to know what she can/can not do (which I doubt there is, really) and, even more, empower her voice even more. She can do runs of like 20secs and not get tired. - She has love over what she does. You can clearly see that she doesn't do it "for the price tag" (lolz, sorry, had to do it xD).
