When I was younger, I had a ex just like this. Told me what not to wear, made sure I didn't leave his room when I wanted to go home, couldn't even talk to my Gay guy friend. He was verbally and physically abusive. Every time I called it quits, he some how persuaded me to get back together. Finally one day, after arguing and saw what he was going to do, I ran out the back door, jumped the fence and kept running. I didn't pick up his calls, or wanted to see him becuz I knew, he'll somehow convince me to get back with him. I never got back with him after a year "together". I had finally stood up for myself and it's an experience I will NEVER forget. I'm almost 30, I was 15 at the time and my parents still don't know a thing. Get out while you still can.
