I don't know why the music industry keeps betting on all that generic music, the artists have so much more to say, for me is way better a raw and real record, I really love when I can conect with the music I'm hearig and it becomes much more than just a song and turns into something important, something personal and that's the music we keep hearing through the years. A role model to me always since I first heard her years ago..i am 36 now and I am so proud of her; people say she is underrated and yes I agree but I have to say good for her!! Look who is most popular out there right now and tell me they can even come close to.this talent? She is not about the fame, she is all about the music and lyrics and how she feels when performing or writing. That is what music should be about..people who truly love what they are doing and that is why they do it and if we are lucky enough to come across this amazing music then that is all that matters. She is to me the most talented artist but she is so much more..she is real and honest and does not try to.change who she is. She accepts herself the way she is and is doing what she truly is passionate about. I am a fan forever and love every single song she has ever written/sang. Thankful for her music.

What she says in this interview is true! We imagine and have these unrealistic sometimes even impossible expectations in life, and when reality hits you with whatever you become disappointed or hurt etc. All those negative feelings doesn't have to be negative, in a sense that you can control your reaction and make it better. I truly agree and everyone, every person is the same way. In this interview it shows how human even celebrities are, and even though a lot of times because of the fame their life is publicized, they are made of flesh and feelings like the rest of us. Rather than viewing them larger than they are we need to see them as our equals, how we treat another person it applies to her as well.

She hasn't been releasing much popular music though. Apart three rememberable songs from like 2014 or 2015, I think it's because she was taking steps away from the image she bore when she became popular. And that can be a good thing, but with her it seems as if she hasn't really found a musical Niche yet, nor has she been able to truly be consistent with making and releasing good Hits. Her first famous songs were various in topic but all had a fun feel. Do It Like a Dude was raunchy and strong. Price tag was fun and a clean break from raunchiness, or what Jessie J called "video hoes". And Domino was a fun Katy Perry like Bop. But she had a hard time pursuing from there. Her album, Unite, seemed like a continuation of the feel of domino, with a little bit of Edge and some experimental techy music. Her album Bang Bang saw her stretching her sex appeal through her music, completely throwing out her criticism of "video hoes" and her latest experimental album tried more mature serious themes involving relationship and feminism. But none of them seemed to have struck the kind of gold or success as her first songs.
