So lovely - and so painful, all at once. I have done this - so many times. Walking the city alone - sometimes with music (singing to myself, humming along), sometimes just meditating on my surroundings, sometimes utterly lost in my own inner world. Walking and pausing and walking... Aware of my aloneness - aware that I am surrounded by millions of people. Part of the stillness - the quietude. Waiting for the dawn that feels like it will never come - knowing that it always will. Filled with unspeakable relief when it finally arrives...

Wow, this video is so simple, but it hit me so hard. The only time I visited London was when I was a teen. I won a short trip to the UK and it was my first time traveling out of the border of my, at the time, still very politically unstable and poor country, first time on a plane too. It was like being dropped from the sky into a whole different reality. I remember walking the very same streets and parks in awe just feeling the energy of the place, sights and people. There is also one person very dear to me that I associate with the city and I've always imagined myself going back for us to meet again. Once I grow up, once things get better, when I self-actualize. It would be a full circle closed. This video is like a reminder to that old promise I haven't kept, or a reminder that I haven't reached my full potential yet. And just as Gemma is Jessie's twin here, and even though we tend to see ourselves in the people we love, maybe the only thing I will meet there one day is myself and everything I used to be and all who I've become. And maybe, just maybe, it's just around the corner. Beautiful, hopeful track. Thank you. ♥

This has such a feel good 60's feel with tones of The 5th Dimention at their best, what's not to love? Just quality & I love it!!!

Yes I just made exactly the same comparison with 5th Dimension, I totally agree. It is one of those sounds you fall in love with instantly.
