Abandoned Mansion in the Desert | Kingman, Arizona

Hey guys! In this weeks episode we are going to explore the Abandoned Gold King Mansion just outside of Kingman, Arizona!

Its located at the base of the Hualapai Mountains and I made it most of the way out here in my Hyundai Accent, so if your worried that you cant make it out here because of your vehicle, just make sure you watch the video and ill go over more details on that!

This could be an example to other videographers: Note that in addition to video, there is an imparting of interesting historical facts, clear directions, road conditions!, and distances. Oh I've noticed for sure, theres been multiple places just outside of Phoenix that I found on google and when I drive out to visit they were torn down, either due to vandalism, crime, liability , weather or rebuilding....I never thought of it that way, but your right, recording history, it could be a matter of time before some of these places are gone.

That wasn't a grill out back, it's a furnace to burn trash, thats how they got rid of trash back then they burned it. I had one in an old house I owned many years ago.

For being almost a hundred years old without anyone taking care of it, it's in fantastic shape and I'm super glad it's not spray painted everywhere which is a miracle!!! The mine is what I want to explore!!!

they do there best to preserve it. A while back there were a group of individuals that were vandalizing it.........they ended up getting caught!

Seems tiny for a mansion! Its a shame there isn't a ton of info out on the Internet about this building. I'd love to find some blueprints or floorplans of it. Good video though!

My brother lives nearby to the mansion. We have ridden up there a few times. There is a back way in that is a fantastic ride on Quads.

@@jessiesdroneadventures7464 That's just what my friends parents used to tell me. not sure how true, but i guess there was marble flooring at one time. every time i wanted to go out there id be on a quad that would break down. One day ill go film it. Are you located in kingman?

Heck I even tried to find old photos of the mansions Interior from back in the day.....nothing, but that could be....I don't live i Kingman though, I reside in Phoenix, I just go there from time to time on my way to Vegas, but I know Kingman has it's fair share of abandoned buildings, so it's one of my favorite places to stop in at! .....I would just hike to the mansion though, ive seen big jeeps with massive clearance struggle to make it out there
