What discourages me is that I only have two people who supports me, my friend and myself. Not even my family believe in me but if anything this should motivate me. I want this I want to be a business owner and I'm go for it no matter what. Encouraging video 💕💕💕💕💕🥰🙏🏽

I’m not going to say who, because I know who you’re referring to, but I just want to say I think you handled that situation with grace. As a follower of the opposite end , i have noticed shaming and posts and it’s truly disgusting. I think when someone bashes someone else they are insecure about themselves. You are so successful and carry yourself so professional and I admire that so much. You took the high road and look where you are now!! You are such a role model to me. I love your videos!!

You inspire me so much. All of your videos have allowed me to grow in my craft. I’m a way better stylist due to you. Thank you very much for all of your amazing videos. Trust me . I was bullied bad for 7 years at the salon I was working at. I was naive and to forgiving. It ruined me more than I thought it did. I’ve spent the last year getting my confidence back and riding myself from all of that bs I went through. Love you Jessi. You are the best.

Thank you for sharing your story. I am in cosmetology school now and struggle with being "on" all day at school. I'd love to hear about all the business side of salon ownership. I have been watching your youtube since the little salon and I am so happy that you are doing so well for yourself. I have been bullied so bad throughout my life and it has really broken me so I am now trying to believe in myself and get past the negative stuff so I can be successful at hair. I have wanted to do hair my entire life and at 38 I am finally making that dream a reality.

Very well handled. You do what you are good at, so inspiring to see your story. I had a salon owner, talk down to me in front of a guest before because I did hair differently than she did. I was very shocked and soon after I got out of there, found a new place. 9 years later after some ups and downs and building my clientele I finally got my own small salon. Thanks for this video. My parents were a great support and help as well.

I got a good idea of what salon bullied you. And a matter of fact you and your husband are in the background of her grand opening video. Honey, let me tell you, as a fellow stylist who’s been there done that already, whoever it was was threatened by your talent because they knew you’re work was better and they were insecure in their own talent instead of embracing you and being eager to learn from one another. Look at you now sister!!! (*a little disclaimer....you do better work than the work I’ve seen on that other channe 😘l)

Thank you for sharing your story! I keep up with my license and do hair at home for some family and friends, work part time for a beauty supply company, will soon be a mostly stay at home mom, and I want to tell you what your channel has done for me. It not only has been a wellspring of information keeping me up to date on color techniques and formulations, but it has reignited my passion in hair. I had a horrible experience after working in a salon for two years and ever since I've stayed away from salons and doing much hair despite it previously being my drive to get up in the morning. I had a similar experience to you it sounds, and it crushed me. Your videos have encouraged me to put myself out there more, and perfect my techniques on my few clients that I take, and now I do hair for fun as opposed to those icky feelings I used to get right after leaving that salon. I'm hoping once my baby is old enough to reenter the field with new confidence! Thank you for putting out educational, fun, and beautiful content. You truly speak one everyone's level and have such a genuine, kind way about you.

Hi Jessi! I just started watching your videos and they have been honestly so inspiring. It has made me so excited for cos school. I have loved hair and cosmetics my entire life and always wanted to go to cosmetology school. I'm obsessed with color and extensions and really want to specialize in them. I am seriously so excited to finish school and be able to continue my education. Taking classes and learning new techniques is what I'm most excited for you your classes are first on my list. ANYWAYS. I have been feeling discouraged lately because my parents made me go to college to get a degree but all I want to do is hair. I only have 1.5 years of college left but I just want to leave now and start school. I will be 22 by the time I'm able to start cos school and I feel like I'm going to be so behind. I just want to get my life started and pursue my dreams but I feel like everyone starts younger than me. Any advice? love you!!

You’re such a doll Jessi and I’ve loved following you for the past few years! I’ve been following you since before you were at the previous Salon, and as soon as you started KZbin watched every video since. I’ve always admired how humble, genuine, kind, and authentic you are. That is RARE. I understand why you experienced what you did - as I have too. You are beautiful from the inside out, you are passionate, kind, driven - all of those things are seen as threats to those who have their own insecurities and pain - but by showing grace and kindness to someone who caused you pain, you did the right thing that will go so much further than any success. God is so good and faithful - and I can see He has blessed you for being obedient. Can’t wait to meet you one day, chica! -Kelly Ingvalson (@hairbykellyingvalson) 💕
