Jess, VCA is not common or basic babe! It is AMAZING and special! In fact, I ordered my first 10 motif (paid but have to wait) and it is the YG Ghilloche. I highly recommend this piece you want!!! Careful tho.... I collect VCA now too..... hahahaha and I DO wear it all the time...

JUC is annoying to wear everyday. Mine is for occasions, so honestly after what you said I would avoid! That being said, the Panthère watch in small is very comfortable, you wouldn’t mind it. What about a sweet 6 motifs VCA bracelet. I love mine, I forget it’s on my wrist. I workout a lot so a Love bracelet never been in the book. Honestly, I stopped buying so many bags and I invested in jewelry instead and I have zero regrets. I feel like nice bags are fine but it’s great to have nice accessories like jewelry and watches to wear with it. I avoided buying a Constance for many years, and after getting a 18, I added quickly a 24 and they are in my most used bags this year ( the 18 particularly).

I love the idea of the cherry 🍒 scarf! That’s a great way to have a part of the collection. Right now I’m obsessed with Veronica Beard handbags. I love so many of the designs and it’s turning into a collection for me. The quality is great.

I love VB too! Their clothing used to be almost entirely made in the USA but Ive noticed more and more of their clothes are imported as each year passes. Their newly released line handbag is super interesting with many chanel and hermes inspired designs!

Maybe consider a heritage brand like Buccellati, et al. Van Cleef has become run-of-the-mill, with he same necklaces EVERYWHERE. Same for Cartier bracelets. You have a sparkling personality, don't be like everyone else. Stand out.

I bought my first piece of fine jewellery this year (rose gold Cartier love bracelet) and I absolutely adore it. It totally elevates a look and it never comes off. I don’t find it annoying (once I had got used to the weight, it’s chunky).

These were my two purchases in Europe in August 2023: The VCA Vintage Alhambra necklace and a Rolex Datejust in gold and steel. I have worn my Rolex every single day for 1,5 years now, I absolutely love it and funny enough - it has given me purse peace. I haven’t bought a single bag or jewellery piece since then and have managed to save quite a lot of money. I have to say though, I have grown a bit tired of my Alhambra necklace. I still wear it, today for example, and get lots of compliments for it, but some people are straight up asking: is it real or fake, which has made it lost its magic a bit for me. Not planning on selling it though. If I would buy another piece of jewellery I would definitely stay away from the love bracelet and juste un clou, and choose something more special like the Cartier Ecrou bracelet or even something from the panther collection. Hi Jess! All those variations of Kelly...you don't need that. You don't need what Mel unboxes. Mel doesn't even need what Mel unboxes. Honestly, I cannot even watch her anymore. Her stuff...it's WAY too much to fathom. Step out of the box and buy a fine jewelry piece. Necklace, or earrings or a watch. A fine elegant timepiece is a beautiful thing. If you feel like VCA is overly duped, choose another jeweler. It's good to have a small signature capsule collection of fine jewelry. I already have mine, so the rest of my stuff is sustainable, recycled gold, made by me, or a dupe of something. I'm good with that. ❤

You could get an Hermes band for your Apple watch ⌚️ I have a mini 24/24 in Ardoise and Noir with permabrass hardware. Some nice combinations available, but as you know, not generally colorful. I like it, especially how it sits against the body when worn cross body. It has a lot of leather and a lot of hardware, which drives the price up… but many different options for wearing it. Slightly less spacious than mini Lindy, but I can fit everything I carry in those. It’s a solid choice

I fluctuate between bags and jewelry :) Jewelry is definitely timeless and takes up less space. Investing in some key pieces is smart. The 2 tone watch would look great with both gold and white metal jewelry. It might be a good idea to buy some less expensive alternative in the metal color you are wanting, to see if you would wear it, before investing in the luxury piece. Great video, Jess!

Two “unsolicited” thoughts: 1) a dinner/evening watch is a nice alternative to have for occasions when a smartwatch just doesn’t suit 2) a tennis bracelet or two set in either gold or platinum (on the opposite wrist of ones watch wrist) is über classy and more versatile than the heavily curated gold bangle stacks trending.

Do you actually use the bags or they're more for collection and sale later on? I say if you can afford it, go for it. I know I can't afford any of these! All my money goes into diving and even if I don't go diving, I end up somehow spending it all somewhere else! So I can't afford bags.
