I'm so glad we ended up watching Home Alone, we had such a good time watching it. :) It was worth putting my foot down on the entertainment choice lol.

Aw, I just lost my first grandparent on solstice with the next one soon to follow. Christmas was quiet in our house and they moved south years ago, but you getting emotional over yours made me think about what time I cherished spending with my grandparents.

Our Christmases have definitely changed over the years. I know time moves forward and we can't go back, but I really do cherish those childhood Christmases with the whole family, even though they sometimes felt stressful at the time. It's a real lesson in enjoying and appreciating what you have while you have it.

Yes, we use the NORAD Santa tracker here. My boys tell me that they don't believe, but they still come and check out where the sleigh is on my phone.

I love that they still check on where Santa is even though they say they don't believe. I stopped "believing" in Santa for a few years and then realized it made Christmas a lot less fun and magical. Now my belief in Santa is what keeps the magic of Christmas alive. It's the spirit of Santa that I believe in now. :)

Merry Christmas! 🎄 I didn’t love Red One, but that’s because I don’t really enjoy action movies haha My favourite new Christmas movie this year was The Snow Sister (Norwegian movie on Netflix). Beautiful movie and so sweet, but it made me sob buckets so I don’t think you would want to watch it since you said you don’t like sad Christmas movies!

Overall I thought Red One was cute, I like action movies. My one complaint is that it was very male centric and the villain plot line was very generic. I was curious about The Snow Sister, glad to know it's a tear jerker, I might watch it one day but at the moment I can't handle something that will make me cry.
