This kid prayed a very sincere prayer to his Creator. The prayer was so sincere that it reached God. God heard his prayer and answered his prayer. The kid meant it when he asked for help and God meant it and helped him. This is a beautiful story of the prodigal son. He is a beautiful boy with a beautiful heart. He pays attention to signs from God. He’s going to be OK.

It’s nice to see this young man who recovered and is staying strong. Right now my son that is 27 yrs old is battling drug addiction and I have hope that he will not continue that life. He recognized that he had a problem and is right now is in a facility to help him. Voluntarily ! We are proud of him , I feel it was the grace and mercy of God that he is there. It has been horrible for us and now I look forward to my son being like this young man someday soon. God bless him.

Life is not easy and some of us fall prey to relapse along the way but what's important is to never allow substance the upper hand by allowing it to overpower your mind. Its when we lose self control and begin slipping through "societal cracks " and publicly making a fool of ourselves is when (personally) I knew it was time to get my shirt together. Among many other red flags / losses . everyone is different . but your story is very relatable to most of us and I thank you for having the courage to speak on your personal struggles. You make others dealing with this not feel so helpless and alone.
