"You will know them by their fruit" ("grapes are not gathered from thornbushes") refers to being able to judge a heart (or a religion) by its actions. There are dozens of countries right now being afflicted by Islamist terrorism.

Any reference to the Trinity is not from scripture. A major problem is there are so few churches who have moved away from trinitarian Christianity.

There is no second Adam in the Bible and if you use the word second Adam you have to be in the category of numbers and third adam and forth Adam there is only the last Adam use it !!!

Jesus was 'called' as being the only son of God, had 'supernatural powers,' traveled with 'handpicked disciples,' and instructs to seek the 'Kingdom of Heaven Within.' Arthur was 'called' as the only one who could extract Excalibur, had Merlin for 'supernatural powers,' traveled with ‘handpicked, Knights,' and seeks 'The Holy Grail.' I see a lot of Unitarians here in the comments, of which I'm not one of. Jesus Christ is the son and second part of the Holy Trinity and it doesn't matter if it doesn't mention he actual word Trinity in the Bible. Doesn't mean it's not true. There's plenty of trinitarian formulas in the New Testament which support the Triune God or the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, each separate but still each act as God.

Are you one of these hypocrites who accuse Catholics (of which I am NOT one!) of eisegesis and using proof texts when they try to justify Purgatory??? Yet that's exactly what you do when you justify the Trinitarian concept. The whole point and the whole thrust of Scripture is against Purgatory and there are hundreds of verses that deny it. It's the *same* with the "Trinity".

Hi Cat. Perhaps the fact that lots of unitarians are beginning to show up, is something to take notice of as a warning. There may just BE a 21st century reformation going on, and God is shaking the established religious traditions. The time of the age has the appearance of drawing to a close prophetically, and its 2000 yrs since Jesus Messiah come to Israel, and before that there was 2000yrs back to the root of Israel just after Babel. And before that there is 2000yrs back to Adam. Looks like 2000yrs is potentially a pattern emerging. So might be time for a shake up as this age appears to be coming to a climax. Do ya think?

Thank you for your reply. He doesnt think Moses is boring, he was speaking for some Christians who mistakenly think that way. Also its not him whos saying Jesus canceled Moses law, it's the New Testament that says that. ‭ Ephesians 2:14-15 "For Jesus himself is our peace, who made both groups [Jews and Gentiles] into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall, by *abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances* so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace" ‭Galatians 5:4, 6, 18 "You have been cut away from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace....for in Christ Jesus neither circumcision [keeping law of Moses] nor uncircumcision [not keeping it] means anything, [the only thing that matters is faith working through love [keeping the law of Christ].....If you are being led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law [of Moses]."

Christ, the Second Person of the Triune One God, alone is our "Israel" because He is the only One who is Righteous. His Righteousness is put to our account up in heaven when we are given the gift of faith to believe in Him.

@georgemay8170 Try these technical trinity terms for Jn1.1 In the beginning was the second person of the trinity And the second person of the trinity was with the first person of the trinity and the second person of the trinity WAS the FIRST PERSON OF THE TRINITY. (emphasis mine) and we see from that there is no trinity. Because there are no other members of God, God is one, and He manifests in His human son Jesus. Paul says about Jesus; "he is the full manifestation of the unseen God" So think about "manifestation" and see that it means usually in biblical matters as a spirit within a man. Thats it. Jesus, John, Paul and Peter all tell us this. You deny it at peril.

You don't know what "manifest" means obviously. That's a big problem. Jesus being the IMAGE of God does not mean he is God any more than a boy being the IMAGE of his dad makes him his dad. Jesus himself said that God INDWELT him (John 14:10-11). Jesus indwells true believers (2 Corinthians 13:5) by the Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17 etc). Does that mean that us true believers "are God"???

​​@@joelflack1469 1 Timothy 3:16. "God was manifest in the flesh" simply means He SHOWED HIMSELF through a man. In John 14:10-11, Jesus himself says that God "indwells" him. Same thing. It doesn't mean Jesus is God. Why would it say in that Jesus is "the image of God"?? (Hebrews 1:3) It wouldn't say he's the "image" of God if he WAS God. "The image of" means *exactly LIKE* Believers are destined to be conformed to the "image of Jesus" (Romans 8:29-30). That doesn't mean that we *are* Jesus!
