Jet Engine Working In Tamil | Afterburner Explained in Tamil. Tamil technology video, Simplify Science in Tamil Engineering technology practical videos in Tamil, Jet engines and their afterburners operate according to Sir Isaac Newton's Third Law of Physics. Simply put, this law shows that releasing an inflated balloon is like watching someone escape into the air and propel the balloon in the opposite direction. Here I have given the simplified explanatory video, hope you guys like it!

Jet engines and fighter jet generate thrust by absorbing a large amount of air and discharging it as jet gas at high speed. They move a multi-million pound aircraft with great power, generating an enormous thrust that makes the aircraft fly. In this way, jet engines are designed to allow aircraft to fly faster than the propellers that power them.
Kerosene, a liquid fuel, is injected from the engine's tank into the aircraft's wings. In the combustion chamber, the fuel is mixed with air to produce a bang responsible for the expansion force of the air in the turbine. The combustion chamber is a compressor in which kerosene and liquid fuel are mixed with compressed air and combusted to produce a hot exhaust gas that causes a huge rise in temperature.
When the exhaust passes through the jet engine, it rotates several turbines that act like small windmills and rotate the exhaust flow. In gas turbines operating in the Brayton cycle, the working fluid is a continuous flow of air which is absorbed through the intake into the engine. The air is compressed by the turbo compressor with a pressure ratio 10-40 times higher than the pressure of the air flow.
The turbine section drives the rest of the jet engine by harnessing the energy from the combustion chamber and maintaining uniform air intake and compression. The rotating rotor blades catch the fast air flow and spin, driving the rotating shafts that rotate the fans of the compressor at the front of the jet engine. The various turbines, which spin like small windmills in the exhaust gas stream, are connected to the compressor turbine, making it spin faster and draw more air into the engine. The afterburner sprays the fuel directly in the exhaust and ignite the mixture to enhance maximum thrust.
