How much did you enjoy it? I'm on the fence about it. Shantae is one of my favorite platformer type games but I also enjoy it's Metroidvania type gameplay as well.

Although I'm not usually big on 2D platformers - Blast Brigade really gets my goat, as it's ridiculously difficult - Jet Kave is pretty awesome, especially since I picked it up for 2$ and change at the Switch store. Great review by the way, it's spot on.

Forgot about this one. Dl'ed the demo and bought it right after I finished it. Perfect timing cuz it's on sale right now. Like you said it's not t reinventing the wheel but there's a lot of mechanics and they're all done very well. It's just straight up fun. Look forward to what they do next. Great review btw

Have to say this was a nice surprise! Fun with a beautiful graphical style imho. For fans of classic platforming games it is especially good. Hints of Joe & Mac and BONK but very much it's own with a cool gimmick with the Jetpac. Just good old fashined fun well worth checking out.

What a shame I wasted my money on Unruly Heroes. I thought it would be a great platformer but it turned out to be a very tedious game. This, however, looks really tempting. A tortilla isn't Spanish food btw, tortillas originated from the Mayans of Mesoamerica. It's a Mayan/Mexican thing rather than Spanish as corn was the main and most abundant crop of Mesoamerica
