Another home run! I enjoyed the airline humor. True story, I recently was working on one of my jets, and got to talking with a new hire first officer. He was a former F-18 driver, just left the Navy. He still had the navy spirit, referred to me as a "Maintainer." And, the icing on the cake was, he called me "Sir!" First time an officer called me sir, lol. Didn't get a salute however but still a good chuckle. Fly Navy!

Its Friday practice day and the Canadian Super Hornet demo team as well as the USN Super Hornet are scheduled to perform on Saturday. After practice ( the USN team had not arrived yet) the commander of the Canadian team was the featured speaker at the performers cook out dinner on the ramp. When it was his turn to speak, he got about 5 words out when the USN 2 ship came roaring into the overhead, pitched out and made about 4 or 5 low approaches. The speaker just gave up and said.."Ladies and Gentlemen, your United States Navy" The timing was too perfect to be a coincidence..

Because I know without a doubt you would get us there safely and that is all that matters! And if we did have an emergency you’d handle it! I told a pilot friend one day after I had been on a plane back in 1995 in Atlanta where our left engine blew up as we rolled down the runway “ it’s different for you because you fly with yourself all the time. I don’t get to choose who is up front!” He laughed but told me I did have a point! Anyway, we evacuated and nobody died except for the fa in the back had 3rd degree burns. Stay safe and thanks for your videos and your service to the great USA! Go Navy!!
