Great show. These guys always rocked. So many great shows back then, unlike now. In one month from this date on 5-17-75, Led Zeppelin would play a series of 5 concerts at Earl's Court in London. After seeing all '75 shows in North America except for those in NY, of course I had to go, to all 5 nights. Glorious times; of course it cost a bit, but was totally worth it. Never flew again. Haha. Very nice to encounter this 1975 concert, the band at their all-time performing best during this era. I have this concert on a 2-cd set but it's been years since I've listened to it, so this refresher here is a welcome treat. I had never noted or heard about the extra/spontaneous "Wind-Up" encore, which I think is truly extraordinary considering that Tull was so tight and polished at this time that I would never have thought they'd do anything to really vary from the "standard" concert. NOTE TO JT: You do such a great job with your audio and video presentations. The photos you incorporate in the audio concerts are great; many that I've never seen before, and as a Tull fanatic since 1971 I pretty much thought I'd seen them all. Cheers!

Thank you 😊 yes the extra encore was unexpected from a very tight band with their concerts. Yes I try and use lots of my photo and magazine collection in the videos

I watched Jethro Tull a day earlier, 16.04.1975 in Zagreb, Croatia (Yugoslavia at that time); I was 18 year old. They also played in Yugoslavia that year - 15.04. - Ljubljana (Slovenia now) and 14.04 - Belgrade (Serbia now). I remember, in Zagreb, they had exactly the same beginning like here in this video from Vienna with Martin Barre solo from Minstrel in the Gallery. When all the lights on the stage suddenly turned on, from complete darkness, and when Martin Barre came with this solo my heart almost stopped at that moment, from the huge excitement and happiness. I already had all their albums at that time and then suddenly I was watching them play live. I watched them later in London 2004 and in Bournemouth this year, funny, it was the same date 16.04 (in Bournemouth), but this one from Zagreb 16.04.1975 almost 50 years ago got a special place in my heart.

Clive quit during Aqualung tour. Barrimore is a beast. Great replacement. I heard a show. It was one of his first. Ian said I think he passed the audition. Anyway they played together well before Clive I found out listening to very old stuff
