Never should have changed this lineup. They sound great! Love me some Mick and Clive.

With all the astounding bands Ian had, this one had the most personality. Nice to see them work together again, even for just a moment.

It was the bass guitar that attracted me to this band. 'Living in the Past' had this amazing bass line especially towards the end.

Great version of my favorite song from Jethro's first LP "This Was". That must be Mick Abrams sharing vocals. Great blues harp by Ian.

What a treat. I use to have all their first albums back in my "formative" years. Those were the days bands really sounded different, and they certainly had their thing going strong. I do reminisce those days when there were all kinds of music coming together and accepted as the main stream music.

Sounds better than ever. I liked the first album, Stand Up, and Aqualung the best. The first LP with its roots music. Ian Anderson's cover of Seranade was phenomenal because he did it differently than Rashan Rolland Kirk. Which was not an easy thing to do. He made it his own.

The first album is "This Was" with Mick Abraham on guitar."Stand Up" was their second album and Martin Lancelot Barre's first album on guitar.

It's a joke - they were fans invited to the occasion and told to mimic the the unenthusiastic reception of the band in it's early days, as Ian described it in the introduction. ;-)
