Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZbin, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZbin. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZbin, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

The whole Songs From the Wood album is just genius. Probably my favorite. You can read the lyrics as poetry. He had a way with words.

Find the video of "The Minstrel in the Gallery" live in Paris. That was, IMHO, the best Tull line-up. I saw them in Cincinnati in the mid-70s, and it was a mind-altering event!

Saw this show at radio city music hall. Back then you would go to a "TicketTron" outlet to buy tickets for any event, concerts, sports, etc... youd tell them the event and they would print the ticket right there. All tickets were printed on the same paper stock, which meant, if you didn't read what was printed all tickets looked the same... So.... the day of the show A bunch of friends had ""real" tickets and i wanted to go too. Being the show was long sold out... I ran to the local TicketTron and bought a NY Mets ticket for something like $1.50. jumped the train that evening ... When I presented the ticket to the ticket taker, he never looked at it. He just ripped it in half, gave me my stub and let me in. Without having an assigned seat I had to keep moving around for the whole show. Best $1.50 I ever spent!

Rush is my favourite band but Jethro Tull is up there in my favourites as well. Fantastic musicianship and brilliant energy. ❤

Did you know the members of Rush were huge Jethro Tull fans? Geddy Lee once stated if he were able to handpick his dream band, Barriemore Barlow would absolutely be his drummer of choice. (and yes, Neil Peart was also a fan of Barlow's drumming).

Ian Anderson is such a prolific song-writer that many great tunes couldn't be included on their vinyl albums and fans had to wait to hear them on the anniversary cd's. To Stormwatch they added "Man Of God" and "Broadford Bazaar". To Broadsword And The Beast they added "Jack A Lynn" and "Overhang". All great songs that deserve a listen.

Quite possibly my absolute favorite Jethro Tull album, filled with very madrigal-sounding tunes, some bawdy, some sweet. I never get tired of listening to it. In the live videos, I love watching John Evan in his white 'ice cream' suit looking absolutely insane!

I'm on my 7th decade man, so I grew up listening to the golden era of RnR, I mean I've seen Jethro Tull and many others, and I just want to say that I like your channel because I can see you really like discovering the music of that era. Sadly I think RnR needs all the help it can get and that's one reason why I love TW! They have influences from those times, I hear that in their sound. Keep on Rockin' CR! Peace.
