Nice to know that, just like the cashiers at my local grocer, JetPens staff also silently judges the types and quantity of items in my orders, and it's even nicer to know that I'm not the weirdest one.

I used to work at a coffee shop with a drive-through. We judge customers and their orders before and after they leave.

I like to imagine when a customer has a weird cart, that everything in the cart is for the same reason, and then invent what that reason might be. One time, when I was working in a grocery store, I had a customer who bought 36 rolls of kitchen towel, 36 packets of jelly, and 3 mobile phones.

My guess with the 36 pens is workplace or business gifts honestly. At my last job we used red black and blue pens for designated uses, getting gifted a little pen set would've been a tiny joy

A note re: the attention to detail in this video: JetPens is truly THE BEST when it comes to packing, so if you see this and think that they're considering a notebook's spirals denting another item just bc it's being filmed, THINK AGAIN 😂 -- every package I've received has been damage-free, and I appreciate that the tape used can be reused by easily peeling it off of the bubblewrap, which I also reuse. 💚JP

When I buy a highly consumable thing like those habit tracking stickers, and I really like them, I always buy a couple spare sets - because I 100% know when I run out of the first pack, they'll have been discontinued.

So... I'm not the person who bought those 36 Energel pens, but I have, previously, bought 3 packs of 12 of those exact pens from Amazon, also in blue, red, and black. So, to the person who ordered 36 of them from JetPens: ARE YOU MY DOPPLEGANGER??? (I bought mine to use at the office. It's basically my version of "lifetime supply" lol.)

I can attest to ordering 12 of each item which I’ve done before because I keep four of each color in my office, for each color in my home office and two of each color in my work bags- I have one backpack for travel, and one backpack for working at library or coffee shops and when you have all the same kind of pen, if a spring breaks or something doesn’t work right, you can always swap the parts out when they’re the same brand!

I love the packing videos! It is fun to guess what other people are doing with their JetPens orders. The habit tracker I was thinking maybe they’re gifting some extras or have some for work and home. I like to order small things for people to try if I love them! I ordered the Ro-Biki notebooks to give to my small group to write down their prayers! They loved the notebooks

I was thinking about that during this video. I understand their use of wrap so the items can carefully travel inside the package but it’s just soo much and a bit over do I am sooo glad to see no more wrap when I open my package today.

No, do you have any idea how awful it is to NOT use bubble wrap? Do you work for Amazon, using no bubble wrap and boxes that are far too big? Things will get damaged ALL the time. I collect the bubble wrap and air bags and reuse them for other packages.

I've looked into that at work, and it's too expensive to use to ship on the regular. Kraft paper is the cheapest option, but it makes for a dusty warehouse. Bubbles make for a clean packaging and unpacking experience.

The big pen order - use the clips to hold them in place on a strip of card maybe? Just an idea. Great to see how you pay individual attention to each order rather than just throwing them in a padded envelope.

Look, considering I go through 1 pentel energel x per week, I assume these are for like 6 months of work. Like a semester? And the person thinks like me ans doesn't like to be buying according to when the need comes by. They just buy the bulk and is happy without having to worry for a long while.

My guess is that the 36 pens are for a writing workshop with 12 participants. It's pretty standard in editing that red is for changes or corrections (so like anything you'd cross out and reword) and blue is for larger comments that you're not necessarily trying to rework, such as "I found this character to be OOC right here." It could be that black is for your own text that's handwritten, but also any number of configurations. Could be a workshop with young writers who might not have their own pens, or the energels could be part of the package. Just a guess, but that's the vibe I got.

My step-dad would look at the amount of tape you used as I still think it's not enough, lol. But for real, he would package shipments up with a hell of a lot of tape. We used to own a shipping post there in Louisiana for a while.
