I love the orchestration and vocals, and the choreography is fun, especially when Brad and Janet seem to be forced to dance and unable to control themselves. Janet does that bit well. Not sure on the staging though, it doesn't seem as interactive.

Some of you guys thinks this performance doesn't do justice to the film, but personally, I love this MORE than the Fox remake that came out last year! Compared to this show, the T.V. version was half-assed and insincere.

@MostWickedDesire ...I was fortunate to see all of these Greats" on Broadway in Jult 2001 !! I was 20 and drove to NYC froM Toronto to visit my BF.And I'm in the city for 20min..Saw the RHPS got 2 tickets to see it in 3hrs....We walked to Times Sq. A movie wz being filmed, Everyone wz being ushered arcoss..I Boldy walk over, I asked a producer, who was in this movie? He sd it was Angelina Jolie ( the movie was "life or something like it) Met her/Dick Cavet fromRHPS started talking to me.Awsome!

I'm all for upgrades, improvements, enhancements, modernized interpretations, and director's nuances but will someone please teach these people the Time Warp. I don't like them distorting the combo. I'm a purist and see this show at small town theatre productions all the time and at the bare minimum they get the Time Warp correct. Now our local full time repertory company does this show every 2 to 3 years. Last year they did a major revision of the plot. I don't think the theatre management knew about it because they had cards in the prop bags. But the big party never happened and there was no big table with Eddy's body. Frankenfurter didn't even flap his gloves so those were superfluous in the bag. There was no laboratory for Rocky's birth either. It was ok I guess. If you want to have fun with this, get the 2001 cast album (which I have) and sync it to the video.

Theater companies think they have to "interpret" a work or else they're not proper "artistes". Ditto for individual actors playing roles. The only problem with that is, YOU CAN'T IMPROVE ON PERFECTION! Which is what the The Rocky Horror Picture show was. So the closer you can get it to that, the better it will be, very simple. I've watched every video I can get on RHPS productions, and none of them even approach the movie. None.
